The Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., (KRCL) has launched a toll-free number, exclusively meant to disseminate information on train location, which has become operational from Sunday morning.
One has to dial 18002661332 to get the required information on the position of the train on Konkan network, a release from KRCL here said. However, no other information including PNR status, would be available through this number, the release clarified.
Meanwhile, Southern Railway, in a release here said help desks have been opened at important railway stations in view of the cyclone in Andhra Pradesh.
The help desk at Mangalore Central could be contacted over 0824-2423137.
