Railway Commuters will soon be able to lure the fastest train experience in India as the Indian Railways is planning to ship Spain’s Talgo Series-9 train S-130 on April 21 to Mumbai.

“The train, being shipped from Spain, had started its journey last week. It will touch base at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) port on April 21. From there, the train will be brought to Delhi for pre-trials on the Delhi-Palwal section before a full-fledged trial on the Delhi-Mumbai route, later this month,” a senior rail ministry official told reporters.
The train could cut the travel time between Delhi and Mumbai to 12 hours as it is expected that it will run at speed of 160-200 km per hour.
